Abilties are a game mechanic that provides a passive effect in battle or in the overworld. Individual Pokémon may have only one Ability at a time. An Ability could be changed Evolution where the new Ability is determined by the former Ability and form change. Not every Ability is beneficial; some will hinder the user. The Hidden Ability is unlocked at level 100 if the Pokémon has one. In order to change the Ability, you must use an Ability Capsule.
